Planning a day near the sea, a coastal walk, or a Kerry wedding ceremony on the water’s edge — timing matters more than most people realise. This free tool gives you tide times, sunrise and sunset, golden hour windows, moon phase and typical weather conditions for any date on the Kerry and West Cork coast, months or even years in advance.

Kerry’s Atlantic coastline is one of the most photogenic stretches in Ireland, but timing makes all the difference. A low tide at Coss Strand at golden hour in April is a completely different experience to a high tide on a grey October morning. Whether you’re planning a Skellig seabird photography trip, a coastal walk, or scouting a location for a shoot — this planner takes the guesswork out.

Currently covering eight locations around Kenmare Bay and the Iveragh Peninsula – including Kenmare Pier, Parknasilla, Blackwater Pier, Caherdaniel and Lauragh – with the Beara Peninsula and wider West Cork coast coming soon.

Tide times are indicative astronomical calculations suitable for leisure planning purposes. Always verify with the Marine Institute of Ireland before any water based activity.

Tide times are indicative astronomical predictions for leisure planning only — not for navigation, whether shown live from the Marine Institute or from our own offline estimate when that's unavailable. The weather shown by default is long-term Kerry averages, not a forecast; the optional live wind/weather toggles carry their own similar caveat when opened. Always check current conditions at marine.ie and met.ie before any water-based activity or coastal trip.
