Yay! Just received some awards!

I finished with a wedding party at 11.20pm last night and I’m travelling to Nigeria for a two week commission tomorrow.  It’s certainly a varied way to make a living, but I’m grateful for every job that comes my way.  I was way too alive to go straight to bed and so I decided to check through the days emails.  I was genuinely thrilled to find out I’d received multiple awards for some recent portraiture.   The images are all from my international development documentary photography work and you can see a selection below.  The awards were from the Irish Professional Photographers Association, so they are of genuine value to me as I strive to continuously improve and development my work.  In total I received 4 Merits and 2 Highly Commended, so not a bad result and I’m really pleased!
